I don't know about you, but I don't see anything wrong with the dress.

A high school girl from Michigan was kicked out of her prom when her dress was said to be "too revealing."

The rules specifically stated that "backless dresses are acceptable." So why was this girl asked to leave her senior prom?

Mireya Briceno, a senior at Muskegon High School, thought she was dressed according to the rules that were sent out before prom.

Briceno's Mother, Connie told Yahoo! Parenting, “The guidelines specifically said backless dresses are acceptable. The rules stated the dress needed to adhere to the ‘fingertip rule’ – meaning the dress had to hit below your fingertip when standing with her arms by your side. They also said no midriff showing, which to me means stomach. And they said the words ‘backless dresses are acceptable.’”

However, Briceno was kicked out of prom. According to the story, the school's vice principal pulled her aside and told her that she wasn't properly dressed and that she needed to leave.

Briceno's date attempted to share his jacket with her in order to cover up the backless portion of her dress. That didn't work either.

When Brad Perkins, Principal of Muskegon High School, was asked to comment on the situation he said, he "wasn’t at liberty to discuss issues related to students over the phone and declined to comment on the dress code violation."
