Get a Free Safe Ride Home on New Year’s Eve

It's almost New Years and some of you are probably already chilling the champagne and readying the confetti poppers. Whether you're hosting or attending, please make sure you are safe this holiday.

The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office wants to make sure that you and everyone else gets home safe this New Year’s Eve. WTVO details -

Once again, they’re teaming up with LaMonica Beverage to offer free rides on the 31st. The Safe Ride Home program is staffed by Sheriff’s Deputies. It starts at 11:00 pm Tuesday night December 31st and runs until 3:00 am Wednesday morning January 1st.

If you or someone you're with have had too much to drink or anyone who just needs a ride home, call 815-639-4741. Please keep that number handy!
