A former guitar player for Alice Cooper and Thin Lizzy will be performing a benefit show for Genoa - Kingston High School.

I have to admit, I'm really jealous. When I did fundraisers in high school, it usually involved selling some sort of bad candy. Genoa-Kingston High School is doing the kind of benefit I would have gotten really excited about.

On Saturday, January 20th, they are hosting "Concert For Cogs" featuring guitarist Damon Johnson. He's played in several legendary bands including Alice Cooper and Thin Lizzy.

There are two shows with Damon that day. The first show is acoustic at Genoa-Kingston High School starting at 4pm. The second show is electric at Five Points Pub in Genoa at 7pm.

Both shows benefit the Genoa-Kingston High School band and athletic programs.

It's going to be a great day of music and stories.
