After a chicken tender lunch from a Florida Culver's, Melinda Britt Disbrow noticed one of her tenders looked a little different.

Disbrow said "It was very obvious as soon as I looked at it that it looked like a manatee," and that it made her day.

After discussing with her coworkers at the dental office where she works, they decided to jokingly list it on Facebook Marketplace.

The tender is listed for $5,000 with the description "Must see to appreciate, #savethemanatee."

Disbrow said she has received hundreds of messages, some making jokes or telling her she made their day. She also said she's had people try to barter with her for Chick Fil A meals.

Currently stored in a freezer, the chicken tender has helped to raise awareness for safe boating practices and manatee conservation.
