Entire Illinois Mall May Be The Perfect Opportunity To Relive Your Youth
Remember the days as a teen or young adult when we spent our free time at the mall. It didn't matter if we weren't even planning on buying anything, we just went to the mall.
Much of my youth was spent at CherryVale Mall and I'm not even mad about it. From what I remember I was always with my brother while he was at Aladdin's Castle. I'd bounce around between Pet Land (when it was inside the mall), KB Toys, or the A&W across from the arcade.
The Mallout Fallout
Malls around the United States have been closing for some time now. (Rest in peace, Machesney Park Mall.) Many have been left abandoned and in bad shape.
Some of these deserted malls are in better shape than others, even to the point of being for sale.
This mall, in Sterling, Illinois, is in great shape/
And there are spaces, inside, available for rent.
The icing on the cake is the cost of renting a space inside.
The owner is offering new business to open inside the mall at a cost of $0 a month for the first three months. Why the spectacular deal?
Here is the owner's explanation.
Basically what I do is buy struggling properties, and lease them out. We do that by offering free rent to start for new businesses and then a low rental rate so people can make money.
There are also kiosks available.
Again, this is inside a mall. How cool would it be to bring back something from the good ole days?
