Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over New Years Eve in Rockford

The Rockford Police Department will be looking for you on New Years Eve if you are out drinking and driving.

The Rockford Police Department are not the bad guys people, they just want you to be safe during the holiday season. Once again this New Years Eve they will step up enforcement against drunken driving through the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign.

The goal is for Rockford to ring in the new year, have a great time and be safe. Rockford Police Officers will be out patrolling our roadways so we can do just that.

The Rockford Police Department does so much good during the holidays:

• Collecting warm clothes for Rockford's homeless
• Chief O'Shea was the guest maestro conductor for the RSO
• Tip a Cop for Special Olympics

I wonder if a Rockford Police Officer would do something like this.
