Dog Runs for the First Time Thanks to 3D Printing

Thanks to 3-D printing, Derby the dog can run with his owners for the first time.

3-D printing is incredible. I have to be honest, it was a phenomenon that took me a long time to wrap my head around it.

I've seen on Grey's Anatomy where they printed 'organs' and such for patients. But again, it's a medical television show and growing up with parents in the medical field, I'm quite skeptical of their validity.

I once read an article about 3-D printing of action figures. That made more sense to me, yet I didn't think it was that profound.

Today after watching this video, my heart completely melted. This sweet dog Derby, thanks to 3-D printing, was able to get a new set of front legs.
