I have a serious question for you. What happened to politeness? It is very difficult nowadays to find people who know how to be polite. So many folks are just downright rude. It makes me sick. I believe it's much easier to be nice than mean to someone. Good customer service is really hard to come by these days. The actual customers don't act much different to employees either. Two wrongs don't make a right.

A fight last week at Darien's Jewel store resulted in the arrests of a 60-year-old man and a 27-year-old man, police said. The brawl was in the store's deli department.

 

One of the worst places to find rude people is at retail locations. That's on both sides of the counter. I wish I knew a way to fix the problem. I really try hard to be nice, but sometimes it's hard when someone is nasty. A lot of times, in those cases, I'll just walk away and go somewhere else. It's not worth the trouble.

Unfortunately, rudeness can lead to a fight like this case at a grocery store in Illinois. This is an example of a he-said, he-said. This all started over a piece of cheese. A man went to the deli at the store and ordered some cheese. The customer was unhappy because he said it wasn't sliced thin enough. Words were said back and forth. The pair ended up going outside and getting into a fight. What is this grade school? Both were arrested.
