Colin Kaepernick is holding a private workout this Saturday in Atlanta.

The controversial signal-caller said on Twitter "I’m just getting word from my representatives that the NFL league office reached out to them about a workout in Atlanta on Saturday. I’ve been in shape and ready for this for 3 years, can’t wait to see the head coaches and GMs on Saturday."

Kaepernick's style of play may work if the Chicago Bears are looking to change things up at quarterback.

While the likelihood of Chicago moving off the much-maligned Mitchell Trubisky is low, the thought of having a former Super Bowl quarterback leading the Bears offense is intriguing.

Kaepernick signing with the Chicago Bears is just probably not going to happen though. Regardless of how much the team needs a shot in the arm on the offensive side of the ball, the idea that management would admit that they goofed with Trubisky to turn the team over to someone who hasn't taken a snap in the NFL since Trump's been in office is highly unlikely.

All that said, now more than ever I can see some team, somewhere in the NFL signing Kaepernick. I'm just not sure who it might be but we'll all be watching when it happens.
