The Most Amazing Christmas Light Displays In Illinois
If you're a fan of going out and enjoying Christmas light displays, then you must go visit these places in Illinois over the holidays.
Illinois' Top Christmas Light Displays
When I was growing up, my dad, mom, and I would go to church on Christmas Eve in the late afternoon. We would have some time to kill before heading over to my aunt and uncle's house for the family party, so since it got dark early we would drive around our town and check out all the holiday light displays.
Back in those days, there weren't all these places that were setting up public displays. You actually had to do the work and drive around to get that little piece of Christmas. I always enjoyed that, especially with holiday music on the radio and a cup of hot chocolate.
