Then he tore a muscle that required surgery and he finished up on the injured list. Recently, he was involved in a car accident near Halas Hall, the team headquarters. Now, his car was stolen.

"A source close to Sports Mockery revealed that Smith’s silver BMW was stolen from a valet parking garage on Lake Shore Drive at Lake Point Tower Condo. Chicago police scanners have since revealed this to be true."
