Baseball Fans: Tailgate Parties Back at Milwaukee Brewers Games
Tailgating is set to return to the parking lot of American Family Field in Milwaukee. Or, as Chicago Cubs fans call it, Wrigley North.
From the moment the 2021 Major League Baseball season began, the most exciting part has been fans in the stands. My wife and I are big baseball fans and not being able to go to any games last season was one of the biggest heartbreaks of pandemic. We flew to Arizona to catch a Chicago Cubs spring training game and we have big dreams of being selected in a drawing to be able to buy tickets to Wrigley Field. Now, I feel like getting to Wrigley North might also need to happen.
Starting April 12, tailgating will return to the parking lot of American Family Field, home of the Milwaukee Brewers. The team made the announcement on Wednesday, saying that fans can tailgate with with people attending the game in the same pod.
“Tailgating is a Wisconsin tradition; it is how we begin our day at the ballpark,” said Brewers President of Business Operations Rick Schlesinger.
The rules for Am Fam Field tailgating say it will be allowed at a single vehicle for people sitting in the same pod within the stadium. Fans will be required to stay within the immediate vicinity of their vehicle.
