I remember the first time I went to Myrtle Beach. We got into town kind of late, so we drove straight to the beach to see the ocean. There was only one problem. We couldn't see it because of all the buildings blocking the view.

That's one thing that I really love about Chicago. The city has protected its shoreline from buildings blocking the spectacular view. You can drive from the far south all the way to the north and see Lake Michigan the entire time.

Sorry, Chicago Bears. The city isn't going to let you build a big monstrous dome right in the middle of that amazing view. Since there are so many awesome things to do and see in the Windy City, I believe that the lakefront is often overlooked.

Well, finally DuSable Lake Shore Drive in Chicago is being awarded for its one-of-a-kind view of Lake Michigan. That famous street is ranked # 40 in the entire world for the most beautiful road. I understand there's a lot of competition but LSD deserves the respect.

Next time you're in Chicago, take a drive down DuSable Lake Shore Drive. Make sure you pay attention to your surroundings. I promise you that the view and sights will blow your mind. The best part is you can walk it too if you really want to take it in.
