Wisconsin River Is One Of The Best In U.S. For Boozing & Floating
There are still plenty of nice days left to enjoy a fun day floating on this top-rated river in Wisconsin.
The Kids Go Back To School Way Too Early
I feel bad for the kids. The students are already back in school. There's still plenty of nice weather to enjoy outdoor activities but they're stuck inside. In my opinion, the children should go to school longer in the spring and go back later in the fall. The weather in September is much better than in May.
Summer Isn't Over Yet
I know a lot of people consider Labor Day weekend the end of summer but I don't agree. The official first day of fall is September 22nd. The weather usually doesn't change too drastically until October. You've got time. Go out and enjoy some fun before it's too late. You're going to be stuck indoors soon enough.
Fit In One More Summer Trip Before Fall
You can definitely fit at least one more summer adventure into your busy schedule. Make it something epic like going on a tubing trip with friends and family. Maybe while enjoying a few adult beverages. That's the perfect way to wrap up your summer.
One Of The Top Rivers In the U.S. For Floating And Boozing Is In Wisconsin
A very popular summertime activity in our area is tubing down a river. Of course, it includes some day drinking for the adults. There are plenty of great spots to do it in Wisconsin. In fact, one of the top locations in the United States is located north of the Cheddar Curtain.
If you want to try out some top-notch tubing, then the Apple River in Somerset, Wisconsin is your place. It's a tradition. You're guaranteed to have a good time.
Riders tie their tubes together (with a communal beer cooler in the middle), and the scene is almost like a floating Mardi Gras.
Beads are worn (and thrown), and there's even a sandbar midway down the river where the party is always kicking with food, drinks, and beach volleyball.
