Luggage Explodes At Midway Airport

Imagine for a minute being a baggage handler at the airport. It's a regular day, nothing out of the ordinary and then BOOM! A piece of luggage explodes.

According to CBS Chicago, that was the scene today at Midway airport. No injuries or damage to the plane have been reported and Chicago PD said a cell phone battery or charger may have been the cause.

No matter how hard you try, sometimes, things just go wrong. Whenever I travel, I always have my cell phone and charger on me and have never had an experience like this.

What makes it even scarier is that this happened while the bag was being loaded. Hopefully we find out what the real cause was because if it truly was a cell phone or a cell phone charger, we should all be concerned with them in our cars.
