Amazon Employees Plan a Walkout Over Virus Fear

Employees at the Amazon location in Staten Island, New York are planning a walkout because of Covid-19. WIFR

This facility has had employees test positive, and anywhere from 50 to 200 are planning a walkout.

Amazon representatives have commented about dealing with this situation:

 "Recently implemented daily temperature screenings in our operations sites as an additional preventative measure to support the health and safety of our customers and employees."

 

"We believe direct communication is the best avenue to discuss feedback, and our teams onsite are speaking directly with employees each day to hear their questions and discuss options that are available in this ever changing environment."

The workers demands are basically, clean and sanitize the building.
