I think it's safe to say that most people consider Halloween a kids' holiday. I guess it's because of the candy, costumes, and events. Of course, parents have a great time celebrating with their family but there's another side to Halloween.

I would say that parents love celebrating Halloween too. Sometimes, it can get a little too scary for the children. The adult costumes can get a little riskier. The parties involve plenty of booze. Of course, mom and dad need some grown-up time too.

For the most part, adult-themed Halloween parties happen at bars. Not everyone wants to hang out at a club. You can throw your own grown-up bash at home but that's a lot of time and money. Hosting is not ideal when you want to have fun.

I was excited to see that a popular Illinois attraction will be hosting an adults-only Halloween festival. It's happening at Naper Settlement in Naperville. It's a two-day event on October 25th and 26th. The cost is $20 per person.

It's called Howlin' at the Moon. It will feature live music, food trucks, and plenty of booze to help get your fun on. You can also enjoy a Zombie Door Photo-Op, Fire Dance Performances, Contortionist, Acts of Danger, Axe Throwing, Moonlight Market, and more.

There's a chance to win $500 in the costume contest. You can also test your fear with an outdoor haunted experience. The best part, you don't have to worry about keeping the kids busy so they don't get bored.
