I grew up in Freeport and a lot has changed, but there are still great kid activities in Pretzel City.

My favorite Freeport memories as a kid include:

• Read Park Pool
• Krape Park
• Downtown Plaza
• ALL the Movie Theatres
• Grant's

There is no more plaza, the Read Park Pool is even better, and there is one incredible movie theatre.

Things have changed over the years but there are still great places to take kids in Freeport.
