Rockford Day is held annually on August 15, but this year we encourage everyone to extend the celebration for the entire weekend, beginning Friday, August 13 through Sunday, August 15. Rockford Day aims to showcase the people, places and things that make Rockford great with fun and interactive experiences throughout the city. We encourage everyone to use the hashtag #RockfordDay2021 or #815Day2021 in any social media posts about Rockford Day!

There's so much to love about Rockford, and 815 Day is the perfect time to show your community some love.

There are a ton of things to do this weekend, but one great way to celebrate is by supporting local businesses. Go out to eat at your favorite Rockford restaurant, take the family shopping at your favorite small business, and spend some time outdoors at your favorite Rockford spots.

There are plenty of ways to show Rockford some love. If you need some inspiration we asked on Facebook for your favorite things about Rockford. Here's what you said.
