13 WREX Garage Sale for United Way

I hit a garage sale of the way to work today, at the studios of 13 WREX.

WREX is doing a garage sale today and tomorrow, with proceeds going to The United Way.

So what can you find at a TV Stations garage sale? Some of my favorite items include:

• Chairs and Couches for TV Sets
• Boylan Titan Seat Cushions
• A table full of ties worn by TV Anchors
• Promo Posters for Soap Operas
• Shot Glasses
• Blank VHS Tapes

Pretty much what you would expect, right? 13 WREX is located at 10322 Auburn Road Rockford, IL.  Proceeds of the garage sale benefit The United Way.

For the record, famous TV people were walking around trying to sell items to the crowd. Either all the anchors are getting younger or I am just that old.
