Are you registered to vote because September 26th is National Voter Registration Day in Rockford?

Tuesday, September 26th is a very important day in Rockford and Illinois. It's National Voter Registration Day.

If you haven't noticed, Illinois has some major issues. It's time for some changes. I think we need some new people down in Springfield.

I don't know about you, but I'm sick and tired of having to pay higher taxes because the government officials don't spend our hard earned money wisely.

It's time to get involved. We all need to go out and vote.

Have you voted lately? I wouldn't be surprised if you said no. Voter turnout is very low. Especially, when it really counts for local elections.

Okay, so here's the big question. Are you registered to vote? If not, that's okay. Don't be embarrassed. There are lots of people who haven't. This is a good excuse for you to finally do it.

Maybe you are signed up to vote, but you haven't done it in awhile. You are registered for an old address or even a different state. Again, here's your chance to change it.

Are you completely lost? Not sure if you have ever been registered or no idea where. Let's fix that problem.

Trust me, it's an easy process.

The only way Illinois is going to change is if we can get rid of these career politicians. That means going out and voting.

Please make sure you're all set for the next election on National Voter Registration Day in Rockford.
