I'm a big fan of creative sentencing and this is a prime example of how it should be.

29-year-old Dave Berry Jr. and three of his relatives from Brookline, Missouri were busted recently for deer poaching. The group was going out at night and had illegally killed hundreds of trophy bucks. They would take the heads off and leave the bodies to rot in the wilderness.

Berry Jr. wound up getting a year and prison, but with a stipulation. The judge ruled that the poacher has to watch Disney's "Bambi" at least once a month while he's locked up.

His first viewing is scheduled for this Sunday.
