Rockford will be hosting a community gathering that will focus on anti-bullying.

Bullying has become a big problem all over and it has very harmful results.

As a community, we can work together to stop it.

To help with this issue, Easterseals has put together an event for Rockford.

The "Anti-Bullying Community Gathering" is happening on Tuesday, October 23rd from 6pm - 7:30pm. It's going to be held at the U.I.C. Health Sciences Campus on 1601 Parkview Avenue in Rockford.

"The Autism Program of Easterseals, University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford, community leaders, and the Rockford IceHogs invite you to a community gathering to discuss bullying prevention and learn about resources available in our local area."

At the event, you'll receive information about resources available. Community leaders will be in attendance to show their support. Also, you can meet Rockford IceHogs players that are involved in bullying prevention for our area.

For more info about this great event, please look HERE.

Please RSVP by October 20th at 815-395-5566.

This is a great thing for our city, so please come out to support it.
