You Won’t Believe What Is Being Stolen From Small Wisconsin Town
These strange items being stolen from a small town in Wisconsin might surprise you.
Crime Is Everywhere And Criminals Will Steal Anything
Nowadays, I don't care how big or small a town is, you're going to experience some kind of crime. Of course, it doesn't all have to be major offenses. The minor occurrences aren't much fun either. Criminals will steal anything that isn't nailed down and if it is, they will bring tools to get the score.
Teenagers Getting In Trouble
I will be perfectly honest with you when I was a teenager my friends and I would cause some mischief. One of our favorite things to do was stealing traffic signs. My buddy could climb a light pole with ease and he had a special tool that could cut them down. Our main target was streets named after any of us. I may or may not have a "Terry" Lane sign hanging in my basement.
You Won't Believe What Is Being Stolen From A Small Illinois Town
I didn't think that stealing street signs was still a "thing" but apparently it is in this small town in Wisconsin. Especially, when you can now buy them on the internet or at a flea market.
"The Vernon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of more than 25 traffic signs in the county this year."
"Some signs have been taken off of their posts, while posts also have been cut and taken as well."
"The signs have been taken along state and county roadways near Viroqua, Westby, Coon Valley, Chaseburg, Stoddard, Genoa, Readstown, and Viola, according to the Vernon County Highway Department."
I Can Solve This Crime Of Stolen Street Signs
If the police in the area want to solve the case, I can definitely help them. The main suspects are bored teenagers. I would check basements, garages, and "mancaves" in the town and I'm positive that many of them will show up. Also, if there are any colleges close by, do a search of dorm rooms and frat houses.
