Watch Two Fat, (Probably) Drunk Cub Fans Embarrass Themselves At Wrigley
It was freezing at Wrigley on Wednesday night so maybe these guys were just trying to keep each other warm.
Wednesday night at Wrigley kicked off the season series between the Cubs and White Sox. The Crosstown Classic are usually some of the hardest tickets to obtain during the season but with 30 degree temps and a constant mist, the two rival teams played in front of maybe 5,000 fans.
(At least) two of those fans decided that there wasn't enough action going on in the field so they started their own in the bleachers.
Warning: There is some NSFW (but very funny) audio in the following clip
If you're going to get into a fight you might want to ask yourself a few of the following questions:
- Can I fight?
- Am I under the age of 25?
- Am I outside the Wrigley bleachers?
- Will people be able to not laugh while watching me fight?
There are many others you can add to that list but if you say "no" to any of the above questions, maybe it's time to turn the other cheek and remove yourself from the situation.
The two gentlemen above would obviously have had to say no to all the previous questions, because that is one of the most embarrassing fights I have ever seen.
From the gut hanging out, to the missed swings, to being winded by just trying to stand up, to the peanut gallery mocking your every move, this was an abomination.
The security guards didn't even want to break it up.
Look at these two guys strolling up to the scene with all the urgency of an arsonist trying to put out a fire. They're probably convinced these two till tire themselves out before they actually need to do anything.
Then there's the people laughing at them.
This lady is having an absolute blast.
This old guy walked INTO the fight with a huge smirk on his face. He knows these two are fools.
This guy is working on some new stand up material during the fight.
And let's give some serious props to the guy shouting technical advice through the whole video.
I know the first rule of sitting in the bleachers is no fighting.

But when you break it down, was this really a fight? It was embarrassing but it would be an insult to fights to call this one a fight as well.
