Action movie stuntmen have nothing on this raccoon in Wisconsin that flew off a truck while driving down the highway.

My mom lives in the suburbs of Chicago, so I go visit her quite often. Most of the time, I take I-90 to get there. Through the years, I've witnessed a lot of crazy things on that tollway, but nothing like these guys in Wisconsin caught on video.

Sanders' coworker immediately took his phone out and started recording just as "the little guy looked a couple last times before jumping off the truck, which was moving at a speed of about 50 mph.

The raccoon rolled over a few times as he landed on the ground, but fortunately survived, Sanders said, adding he had to slam on the brakes to avoid hitting the animal, which was dangerously close to his vehicle.

Since I drive on the highway quite a bit, I was trying to put myself in that position. What would I have done if this situation had happened right in front of me? There really wasn't enough time to get the truck driver's attention. I believe I would've at least tried to make sure the raccoon was okay, but from a distance because those suckers can be mean.

It looks like the vehicle was a garbage truck. The poor raccoon was probably looking for some food in a trash can. Just as he's having a little breakfast, the garbage man comes and dumps the contents, including the animal, out of the can in the back of the truck. The creature panicked, and that's when it jumped off the truck.
