I know that summer is a great time of time for festivals but don't sleep on fall. There are plenty of good times to be had during those months. Of course, Wisconsin knows how to have a good time and throw a party so it just makes sense for them to host some fun fall festivals providing entertainment for the whole family.
This year celebrates the 31st anniversary of the Harvest Fair. It's held at the Wisconsin State Fairgrounds in West Allis, Wisconsin. That's a great venue for a festival. I've been there plenty of times for events, concerts, fairs, and races.
This year the Harvest Fair will be held from September 27th through September 29th. The hours are Friday 5 pm to 11 pm, Saturday 10 am to 11 pm, and Sunday 10 am to 6 pm. Admission is just $5 per person, which is a great deal for a fair.
There will be plenty of entertainment for the whole family including live music and entertainment on several stages, local artists, lumberjack shows, pumpkin bowling, build your own scarecrow, vendors, farmer's market, carnival rides, games, and plenty of food and beverages.
