One of my favorite ways to go thrifting is at outdoor flea markets. Now, those are quite an adventure. You'll never know what you'll find. It's great for people watching, too. The only thing is that you have to wake up early to go, usually on a Sunday.

I've been to plenty of outdoor flea markets in Illinois, but it's been many years since I ventured up to Wisconsin. There are lots of good ones north of the border. That's my goal for this summer.
