The passengers on this ride at a Wisconsin carnival got some unwanted extra upside-down time when the attraction broke down.

Carnivals In Wisconsin Are Part Of The Summer Tradition

I'm a big fan of amusement rides, especially roller coasters. When I was growing up, there weren't that many theme parks in Wisconsin or Illinois. My family would usually hit Great America only once a year. The only way to really get that thrill over and over was by checking out some local carnivals. Luckily, it seemed like there was one nearby every weekend. I spent a lot of time and money on them.

Fear Of Carnival Rides In Wisconsin

I've never been afraid to go on any rides. I'm not a big spinning in circles over and over very fast type of person but I'll jump on one every once in a while. Some people don't trust carnivals but I've never had a bad experience. Of course, there's been plenty of frightening incidents through the years.

Nightmare Ride At Wisconsin Carnival

Back in high school, I actually got stuck on the Demon roller coaster at Six Flags. Fortunately, it was just on the very first hill going up. I've always had the nightmare of getting stuck upside down on one of the loops. I don't think I could handle that. Recently, some poor riders in Wisconsin had that exact scary moment happen to them.

According to,

Around 1 p.m. Sunday, a ride at the Forest County Festival in Crandon stopped while multiple people were on it. Some of them were stuck up there for at least three hours.

All we know is that there is a mechanical failure with the ride where it became stuck in the upright position the ride was recently inspected by the state of Wisconsin here on site.
