Quiet Riot on the stage, a cold beer in hand and a plate of BBQ. That is your Saturday at Brews & BBQ at The Rockford Speedway. We will take care of the cooking, the beers, and the tunes.

So as you prepare for the following day, do you really know what to do when you BBQ. The grill is ready and the meat has been purchased. Are you going charcoal or gas? Are you using any additional wood chips for flavor? Dry rub or sauce? There are so many questions!

Here's a little helpful guide to help you Labor Day Weekend. According to The Guardian here are some BBQ Dos and Dont's:

DO

  • Try to use lumpwood charcoal
  • Stack your coals
  • Get meat out of fridge 2 to 3 hours ahead of time
  • Just use one cut of meat
  • Use a meat thermometer

DON'T

  • Try to cook too many different things
  • Squirt water on the flames that flare up
  • Clean the barbecue after use

We will cook and clean for you this Saturday, you just come out and enjoy the party.
