Walmart Taco Seasoning Recalled For Salmonella

Taco Tuesday might be put on a temporary hold.

WREX - Williams Food LLC is initiating a voluntary recall of taco seasoning. The impacted seasoning packets are the 1 ounce Great Value brand mild seasoning mix or the 1.25 ounce Heb brand reduced sodium mix.

This seems to be a bit of a trend. It seems like every week there's another recall.

Williams Food has identified the cumin in the mix as the culprit. "Best buy" dates on the tainted packages of July 2021.

If you have a bad packet you are encouraged to toss it or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
