Next Tuesday, you have the chance to witness history in Chicago, if you have tickets. Here's how you can get them.

President Obama will be in Chicago January 10, to deliver his farewell speech at McCormick Place, and if you'd like to be in the audience, you can be.

But, you must make an effort to also be in Chicago this Saturday, January 7.

While the tickets to the speech are free, you have to go get them in person at McCormick place this Saturday. One ticket per person, first-come-first-serve.

This seems very fair, but very unlikely that many people who don't actually live in Chicago will be able to be at McCormick place both this Saturday and then again next Tuesday.

But, hey, sometimes you have to make it happen for something as historical as this.

If you do score tickets, the speech doors will open at 5 p.m., and of course there will be plenty of security. According to NBC Chicago, bring the least amount possible with you to watch Obama speak.
