How well do you know our Brews and BBQ headliner, Quiet Riot? We know the iconic mask, we know they are the first hard rock/heavy metal band with a #1 album, but did you know the Kevin DuBrow had an affinity with dragons?

This is a band that flipped the "L.A. Metal Scene" on it's head. Quiet Riot was lumped into the world of Poison, Ratt, etc etc but brought a different attitude. They wanted to take over the world and do it on their terms, and did they ever.

According to Artistfacts here are Five Facts (odd ones) about Quiet Riot:

• At least 23 musicians have played in the band
• At Kevin DuBrow's funeral, a friend placed a dragon sculpture on his casket in tribute to DuBrow's affinity with dragons.
• Original Quiet Riot guitarist Randy Rhoads left Quiet Riot to join up with Ozzy Osbourne's band
• MTV Played a huge role in Metal Health going #1, playing "Cum on Feel the Noize" almost every hour
• "Cum on Feel the Noize" was the band's most successful song, going to #5 on the charts.  The song was originally recorded by British band Slade, and released in 1973.
