A Night to Remember: The Fixx performed at Arcada Theatre located in St. Charles, IL.
On Friday night, April 25,  I enjoyed watching The Fixx perform live at the historic Arcada Theatre in St. Charles, Illinois. The historic venue provided an intimate atmosphere with its vintage allure that enhanced the nostalgic music-filled evening. The Fixx were a band I always enjoyed but really never thought about seeing live. Also, its rare that a band formed in 1979 would have all the orginal members still in the band. 

As soon as The Fixx appeared on stage at 930pm their electrifying energy filled the room. The band won over the audience right away by starting their performance with "Outside." Cy Curnin delivered his powerful and emotive vocals for the audience while The Fixx demonstrated their musical expertise gained from decades of performing together.

The setlist provided a carefully selected exploration of their vast music collection featuring fan favorites such as "Saved By Zero," "Are We Ourselves?," and "Secret Separation." The audience provided enthusiastic applause for every song while they joined in singing which created an atmosphere that was simultaneously heartwarming and exhilarating.

The performance of "One Thing Leads to Another" stood out as one of the evening's key moments along with everyone singing along to Red Skies At Night. The band delivered an electrifying performance which sparked explosive excitement from the audience. Jamie West-Oram delivered exceptional guitar performances that brought additional depth to live versions of these staple songs.

The Arcada Theatre itself deserves special mention.

The venue's acoustics created an exceptional sound environment which made every detail of the performance clearly audible. The staff's welcoming attitude and efficiency guaranteed visitors a seamless transition between entering and leaving the facility. The historical atmosphere combined with modern features at the venue created the perfect environment for a concert.

The Fixx came back for three encore performance at the ending of the evening by delivering the song, Saved By Zero as the final song.The performance concluded appropriately on a night that honored outstanding musical talent and the lasting strength of live shows.

The Fixx transformed their performance at the Arcada Theatre into a masterclass that showcased the magic of live music. The audience was deeply moved by the timeless songs The Fixx performed with both passion and precision. The unforgettable show demonstrated the band's enduring influence on music to both longtime followers and new fans alike.
