Now that it is officially fall, the first fall holiday we can celebrate is Halloween. The holiday where kids know which neighbor has the best candy.

I made a real fine batch of chili this weekend. Maybe you caught the aroma around town on Sunday as it was bubbling away on my stove. My eleven year-old son helped me brown the meat, mix in the tomato sauce, spices, peppers and onions. I may have added a smidge too much cilantro, but it was still the greatest chili ever made...
