COVID-19 Testing

After seeing a slew of negative comments on Facebook, a Peoria woman became concerned about the COVID-19 tests she was administering and called the police.

The Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) confirmed on Monday that the department will work with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to test up to 1,000 deer for the virus between now and March 2022.

A new FDA-approved COVID-19 test will make its way to Rockford in a matter of weeks.
