Our newspartners at mystateline.com are reporting that murder suspect Terence Doddy may have returned to the Rockford area. Authorities also identified the victim of a murder/car theft near Paw Paw as 44 year-old Tonya Bargman of Monticello.

A woman who was found dead today at a rest stop near Paw Paw along I-39 is believe to have been killed by the man suspected in the death of a Rockford man earlier this week

The suspect is 36 year-old Terence Doddy, who is now wanted in connection with the murder of his friend Todd Hansmeier at a business on N. Alpine on Monday. It is believed Doddy drove off afterward in Hansmeier's vehicle. Surveillance video from the rest area shows the victim being attacked by a male after walking out of the restroom. Doddy was seen leaving the rest area in the woman's car, a gray 2013 Nissan Altima, license plate number BARGMN2. Anyone with any information should call 911 or the Illinois State Police at 815-632-4010.
