Stinky Illinois Tripadvisor Hotel Review, ‘Not a Smell I Like’

Nothing can lighten your mood quite like a good, or bad, Tripadvisor review. We've had restaurants that have been reviewed as "so bad I wouldn't feed that to my dead Gma." But my favorite (until now) is the hotel referred to as a 'Drug Dealer's Paradise."  TRIP

Here comes one that really stinks...Quite literally. A hotel in Schaumburg, IL came with quite the description. The odor, the scent, the smell, was not pleasing to this individual. This line though...

So, the Wingate by Wyndham Schaumburg, Illinois is the hotel being reviewed here. The extras included in this review are pretty great too...

Room tip: Not sure if there are any good rooms

The funny part at the end of this review, is that the star rating was pretty high. Anyway, back to the stink in this hotel. What was the odor, why was it so bad, and what exactly was it that caused it. Here is the actual review:

This hotel doesn't smell good. My family stayed here aug 5th 2017 and I think they're covering something up making the whole place smell... not a smell that I like. The room was only average (or below). The cart wouldn't even fit into the room to unload. Forget about the bar... not a bar-like atmosphere. No pool. I wouldn't take my shoes off in this place. The toilet and tub looked like they've been repaired. The pictures of this place can't possibly be from here. - liketotravel777
