Spring Illinois Drug Bust, Nabs One of States Biggest Drug Dealers

Eight Class X Felony charges were brought against Edward L. Holmes, and this should have him going buh-bye for a long time.

Eddie was on a "drug run" when he was stopped by police. What did he have on him you ask? 14 ounces of cocaine and about 130 grams of methamphetamine. That is more than enough to get one of the states biggest dealers off the streets of Illinois, specifically down in the Bloomington area.

The full list of the 8 Class X Felony Charges are:

• Controlled substance trafficking, between 400 and 900 grams of cocaine
• Possession of between 400 and 900 grams of cocaine with the intent to deliver
• Controlled substance trafficking, between 100 and 400 grams of cocaine
• Possession of between 100 and 400 grams of cocaine, with the intent to deliver
• Methamphetamine trafficking, between 100 and 400 grams of a substance containing meth
• Possession of between 100 and 400 grams of meth with the intent to deliver
• Methamphetamine trafficking of between 15 and 100 grams of meth
• Unlawful possession of between 15 and 100 grams of meth with the intent to deliver

Well when you put it that way...hot damn. More charges were filed on top of this, with Edward involved in at least a dozen other transactions that they know of.
