Southern Wisconsin Family Visited by a Bobcat in Backyard!
Imagine this, you gather around the dinner table with your family and you are discussing your day. As you are explaining how no one works anymore, and how gas at $5 a gallon really sucks...Your youngest is going: "Dad, Bobcat...Dad Bobcat...Dad BOBCAT!" WKOW
Brooklyn, Wisconsin is in Dance County. It is about 30 minutes northwest of Janesville. This isn't a very big town with a population of about 900+, so when something like THIS happens...it's BIG news. Who am I kidding, a freakin' Bobcat running through any backyard is huge news!
This Brooklyn, Wisconsin was around the table for a late dinner about 8pm...When they noticed the rare animal making it's way around their backyard. So in this situation, what would be the first thing YOU do?
OK, head count...all the kids are here. Pets, oh god the pets! Well that is what this family did, they hurried to grab their two cats and a chihuahua...That woulda made for a nice Bobcat snack I'm guessing.
The Wisconsin DNR (Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources) say that the Bobcat is actually one of the most seen of that cat family, I've never seen one thank god...Can you say pee my pants?
