Smoke to Blanket Midwestern Skies Today and Tomorrow
Midwestern skies filled with smoke from Canada.
It's been raining for the past few days, but for the first time... we are not expecting rain today, or tomorrow! But, that doesn't mean the sky will be blue, beautiful and filled with sunshine.
Large forest fires burning in Canada, mixed with the wind blows smoke and haze into the area.
According to WREX you may be able to see smoke from the wildfires blowing as far south as Tennessee. A thick band of smoke extends through much of North Dakota, South Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, eastern Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois and Missouri.
The original article from WREX goes on to say that the smoke can linger through Wednesday, but will then shift to the east.
