See What Chicago Life Was Like 100 Years Ago Today

This black and white footage shows what Chicago life was like in 1920.

Hard to believe that the 1920's were almost 100 years ago!

It's not every day that you can take a step back in time and get a glimpse into how the world worked many moons before you were born.

I stumbled across this YouTube video of what appears to be children near their respective schools.

What stood out to me in this video is the hairstyles that the men and women were wearing. I'm no hair expert, but those styles do not look easy to accomplish on a daily basis!

I loved watching the young boy try so hard to open the heavy doors to the school for the students and teachers to walk past. Seeing the cars on the street was quite incredible as well!
