Long before Avengers: Endgame had folks sitting in theaters for 3+ hours, there was Saving Private Ryan.

Just in time for the 75th Anniversary of when Allied forces landed on the beaches in Normandy on June 6, 1944, otherwise known as D-Day, this Steven Spielberg classic will be back on the big screen.

This Steven Spielberg cinematic achievement is thought by most to be the best and most iconic war film ever made.

The film's opening 27-minutes battle sequence that recreates what it was like to land on the hellish beaches of Normandy was so authentic that some veterans said: "it was like being back in battle".

The film itself was originally in theaters 21 years ago will be shown at AMC Showplace 16 on June 2nd and June 5th.
