I don't know about you but I've never used a microwave inside of a gas station. I haven't even consumed anything from those heat rollers in probably twenty years. Is it the slight germaphobe in me? Maybe. It is because I think the general public is gross, probably. Either way, after hearing this story there isn't a shot in hell of me using a microwave in a gas station ever in my life.

A coworker of mine shared one of the most frightening/disgusting things I've ever read on Facebook. In fact, after I read this I stopped what I was doing to go straight to her office for clarification. And after she told me the story in a little more detail the next thing I did was hit up Google to see if this was a thing. It is and I'm completely grossed out.

Here's what she posted:

Another coworker dropped this nugget of a comment:

Somebody is trying to pass a drug test, I bet.

IS THIS REALLY A THING?

Do people think heating up your urine will keep the remnants of weed or anything else? Are they buying another person's urine and heating it up so it seems fresh. I'm so confused and so grossed out. After a little research... this is a thing.

WAIT, THIS HAPPENED SOMEWHERE ELSE?

Yes, and it wasn't in Florida, it happened in the pot capital of the country, Colorado.

I found a story from the NBC affiliate in Decatur, Illinois with the headline, Woman blows up microwave trying to heat up urine for a drug test." Don't read that article if you have a weak stomach because it involves a urine explosion.
