Rockford Teacher Fills Classroom and Halls with Endless Love and Passion
Some humans really do have a light about them that leaves a profound mark on other people. Students, and colleagues alike, feel blessed to be around her.
I'll bet that most of us know what it's like to work around someone who loves what they do. There's a fire in them that cant ever be put out. This is story about one of those people that make ANY business successful... even better when it's someone with great influence over our children.
Congratulations to our NEW Teacher Of The Week, Mrs. Stacee Proper
Stacee teaches at Jackson Charter School in Rockford. She was nominated by her 4th grade co-partner at Jackson, Marissa Manos (pictured above on the right), she writes,
She deserves to be teacher of the week because not only is she an amazing teacher, she is a mother, a wife, and is working simultaneously to get her second masters and is passing with flying colors acing everything! She is my co-partner for 4th grade and I am a first year teacher. The amount of effort she puts into the children is by far inspirational, but what's even more moving is how much she has lead me to success my first year so far. She has been with me every step of the way, has showed compassion, leadership, and has showed kindness and love in ways I couldn't imagine. Almost every day she leaves me little surprises on my desk ( treats, snacks, bracelets etc.) and calls me every evening to go over next day plans and checks in with me. She also has taken the lead on planning and preparing both of our students and my success each week. She truly deserves praise for her hard work, perseverance, teamwork, and endless display of love and passion for her coworkers and students. She is more than teacher of the week she should truly be teacher of the year!
Thank you, Stacee for leading by example and teaching that giving it everything you have is always the best option.
As a 97ZOK Teacher Of The Week, Mrs. Proper was surprised with a beautiful floral arrangement from Broadway Florist and a delicious cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes.
