Rockford Man Sentenced in Wisconsin on Child Pornography Charges
On Thursday, July 18th, 37-year-old Rockford man was sentenced to 10 years in prison for possession of child pornography.
Matthew Slaughter will serve his new sentence of 10 years consecutively with an 8-year sentence he's currently serving for being convicted of repeated sexual assault of a child in 2002.
According to authorities Slaughter was in possession of a cell phone that contained "visual depictions of minors engaging n sexually explicit conduct". One of which was younger than twelve.
The charges against Slaughter were brought up after a joint investigation by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Noblesville, Indiana Police Department.
