  • Rockford is the third largest city in the state of Illinois.
  • Rockford officially became a city in 1852.
  • Rockford is called the Forrest City
  • Rockford is a booming with growth and development, things are getting bigger and better

According to The Municipal the growth and boom of economics in Rockford is on a very positive upswing. The 2014 Combined Spend Economic impact was nearly $4 million dollars. Things like Rockford City Market, renovations to downtown, the converting of an old factory to a sports complex, and the ground breaking for a 60+ million dollar hotel, has  spawned positive economic growth.

Instead of focusing on negative news, look to the future of this city of 150,251.
