Rockford Comedian Natasha Leggero to Star in New CBS Pilot

Rockford native, Natasha Leggero announced that she will be staring in an upcoming CBS Comedy Pilot Broke.

The East High School graduate shared the news in an Instagram post on Thursday.

No word yet as to when the pilot will air, but Leggero will star alongside Jamie Camil and Pauley Perrette.

Broke is created by Jennie Snyder Urman, who also created/executive produced Jane the Virgin on the CW.

A brief synopsis was posted on Deadline.

As a writer, actress, and stand-up comedian Leggero is no stranger to television.

She's had several Comedy Central specials, created and starred in Comedy Central's Another Period, as well as starring on Showtime's Dice.
