2014 - J. Geils celebrates his 68 birthday.

2003 - Great White guitarist Ty Longley fell victim along with 100 others who were killed when a fire broke out at the nightclub The Station. The fire started from a pyrotechnic display being used by his band.

1982 - Pat Benatar married Neil Giraldo in Hawaii.

1976 - KISS had their footprints immortalized in cement outside Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood.

1970 - John Lennon's "Instant Karma" was released in the U.S.

1969 - "Goodbye Cream" opened in Baltimore. The film was of Cream's November 26, 1968 farwell concert at London's Royal Albert Hall.
