2004 - Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil pleaded no contest to charges that he assaulted a prostitute at the Moonlite Bunny Ranch brothel near Carson City Nevada. The judge fined him a thousand dollars and ordered him to complete anger management courses in 60 days.

2003 - Paul McCartney purchased the entire song catalog of the late rockabilly singer Carl Perkins.
